FAQs

  • Direct ferry to the Isle of Harris is provided by Caledonian MacBrayne services from Uig in Skye to Tarbert. CalMac also provide ferry services from Ullapool to Stornoway and through the Uists to the south and across the Sound of Harris. You can also fly in to Stornoway airport from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Inverness and Benbecula.

    Borve is 13 miles drive South on the A859 from Tarbert which takes around 25 minutes and around 50 miles (90 minutes) drive from Stornoway.
